Announcing a New Book
Posted By Katie Ploeger on March 2, 2010
Katherine Ploeger has just published her latest book for nonfiction writers.
Write That Nonfiction Book: The Whole Process is a course-in-a-book, contained in six sections with twelve lessons. The book works through the process of writing a nonfiction book, offering detailed, step-by-step tasks, tips, and techniques to accomplish that all-important goal.
This valuable course-in-a-book offers the reader two different focuses: first, working through the tasks and techniques with the action steps and exercises, the reader can practice the process. In addition, the writer can identify and work on her own book project, using the BookNotes.
Each BookNote describes one task to accomplish at a time, one goal to focus on. Once that task is done, the writer moves on to the next task, the next BookNote. This method allows the writer to reduce a huge, unmanageable mountain into a series of steps and tasks to accomplish.
By the end of the course/book, the writer should be fairly familiar with the entire writing process, along with having learned about and practiced many tips and techniques. The writer can see the process as something doable, and she should have a finished manuscript she can send to a publisher or printer (if self-publishing).
Write That Nonfiction Book: The Whole Process is available in three formats: trade paperback through Amazon.com, a pdf download + a bonus workbook through this website, and as a kindle book.
Go to the Write That Nonfiction Book page on this site for more information about ordering.
So what do you think about the book? Could you use a copy? Have something to say about writing nonfiction? Please leave a comment and I’ll reply.
